Accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard generally referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act for websites like this one.

• A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• Descriptive alternative text on photography, naming what the image shows.
• Keyboard operation throughout, including the photo gallery, which closes with Escape and moves with the arrow keys.
• Visible focus outlines, and text that meets contrast requirements against its background.
• Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to narrow screens.

We reviewed the site in September 2026 and fixed what that review turned up: the comparison table now carries proper column and row scopes, a description, and remove buttons that name which apartment they remove rather than all reading “Remove”; its horizontally scrolling area can be reached and scrolled with a keyboard; filtering announces how many results are left instead of changing silently; the map section carries the address and transit details as text, since an embedded map is of little use through a screen reader; and the whole site now honours your system setting for reduced motion.

We would rather say this plainly than claim full conformance. This site has not been through a formal third-party audit, and it has not been tested end to end with assistive technology by people who depend on it day to day. Our own review catches what a careful developer can see; it does not substitute for that. Until both have happened, assume there are problems we have not found.
