Accessibility
Last updated September 2, 2026
Easy Rental wants this site to be usable by everyone looking for a home, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.
What we are working towards
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard generally referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act for websites like this one.
What is in place today
- A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Descriptive alternative text on photography, naming what the image shows.
- Keyboard operation throughout, including the photo gallery, which closes with Escape and moves with the arrow keys.
- Visible focus outlines, and text that meets contrast requirements against its background.
- Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to narrow screens.
Where we know we fall short
We would rather say this plainly than claim full conformance. This site has not yet been through a formal third-party audit or been tested end to end with assistive technology by people who rely on it. Until it has, we expect there are problems we have not found. The interactive map and the floor plan comparison table are the areas we consider most likely to need work.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of this site prevents you from finding or enquiring about an apartment, please tell us — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Email leasing@easyrental.ai or call (212) 555-0100. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond and give you the information you were after by another route in the meantime.
Accommodations in our buildings
Requests for reasonable accommodations or modifications relating to an apartment, rather than this website, go to the same address and are handled by our leasing team.
